My top 6 tools I use in my wellbeing business.

Running a holistic therapy business has been tough in a post-pandemic world. I decided to up my game and invest in tools & systems to run my wellbeing business in a way that communicated safety and efficiency and attract more of my ideal clients rather than trying to attract everyone.

I can genuinely say I use all of these tools almost every day and now couldn’t run both my businesses without them! They have helped hone my branding, made my Reflexology business look and feel way more professional yet remain easy for my clients to use and access my services.

Squarespace

By far THE most user-friendly website builder out there, designed to help solopreneurs build their own websites, no matter their technical ability. The difference between other platforms is that Squarespace websites look amazing on all types of devices and are optimised for SEO. It also has an integrated version of Acuity (see below) built-in called Scheduling which makes it super easy (and impressive) for clients to book my services. Try your free 14 day trial here*.

Acuity Scheduling

Acuity is a Squarespace product but it can be used on any website platform! (even to you Wix & Wordpress lovers) It’s a slick appointment booking system that allows your clients see your availability, schedule + pay for appointments / packages / gift vouchers - all directly from your website. You can even send reminder texts and automatic follow-up emails, including getting clients to fill in consultation forms in advance. I couldn’t run my Reflexology business without this!

Canva Pro

If your holistic therapy business is on social media then you’ll need some quality graphics for your posts. Sure, the free version is great but somewhat limited once you’ve got the hang of it. Pro gives you premium features such as unlimited access to all stock images, videos, social media templates, Brand Kit tool (saves your colour palette and fonts), Background Remover and much more. With Canva's drag + drop feature you can customise your designs in just a few clicks - no design experience needed! Try your free 30 day Canva Pro trial here*. (Hack tip: you could share your login with a colleague and charge her for half the subscription cost. Sshh 🤫)

®️The Contract Shop

The boring but essential part of every business. It’s very tempting to sweep the legal / GDPR side of your wellbeing business under the rug but please don’t! Protect your business and your website visitors’ data with iron-clad, lawyer-prepared legal templates that you can easily customise to your business. Buy your Website Privacy Policy & Terms & Conditions bundle here*.

MOYO Studio

Bored of the same stock images on the likes of Pexels and Unsplash? I love MOYO Studio - they sell affordable designer photography, stunning mockups and dreamy digital templates, inspired by nature and minimalism for the more creative holistic therapist. Show off your offerings with imagery that truly aligns with your wellness brand. Get 50 free premium photos when you sign up to their mailing list*.

“Grow With SEO” Course

Are you relying on social media to get clients because your website is a hot mess? Maybe you have a pretty looking website, but nobody is finding it! Kate Scott’s course teaches you everything you need to know about optimising your website to rank well on Google including a step-by-step process for creating amazing web page and blog content - even if writing scares you. Read more about her course here*.
